Paula Askanas upped at Sony Pictures TV

Paula Askanas has been upped to exec veep of communications for Sony Pictures Television. The longtime Sony TV exec oversees all media and communications for the studio's TV wing. She reports to Sony Pictures TV prexy Steve Mosko. "Paula's ability to understand both a variety of businesses, as well as the diverse needs of our global operations, has made her a tremendous asset to the company," Mosko said. "As SPT has grown and succeeded, so has she, and her relationships and our exceptional representation in the media are the proof." Askanas was most recently senior veep of media relations.
